Milepost 12 is shown on the current OS map next to the railway bridge. The milepost may have been recently removed. Both quarter posts remain, they were uncovered when the hedge and fence along the towpath were cleared. The half mile post is missing, all that remains is a hole in the ground. Was it stolen or is it at the bottom of the canal?
