Milepost 20 has survived the building of a fence along the towpath. It is a bit rusty and the plaques have bent around the screws in the middle. The half milepost is very low in the ground and can be covered by ivy. The three quarter mile post is unpainted and marked on the modern OS map as a MP (def).
