The full milepost is near the junction with the Springs Branch in Skipton. It lacks both its plaques but is otherwise in good condition and has been painted. It is sited on top of a culvert which takes a stream under the canal. This is a rare example of a full set of milestone, quarter, half, three quarter and full mile posts.
